"Cake did not match description, cheated and no value"

My sister (the birthday girl) really loves mango cake but from previous experience mango cakes are usually sour, so I emailed and messaged the provider to check if the mangoes were likely to be sweet. S/He replied that they use mango puree, so it ... More would be sweet. I then asked about the mango cubes but did not receive a reply.

On the day of the delivery, the cake was delivered punctually (within the timeframe indicated). To be fair, the texture of the cake was nice and smooth, and it was sweet due to the puree used.

However, we were disappointed and furious that there was NO sign of any real mango used - be it chunks, cubes, flesh, etc. - AT ALL. It was just CAKE WITH CREAM. How can the provider justify the $50 price tag?! I could have ordered a similar cake at half the price from another provider, and even Eatzi (Jack's Place) which is tried and tested and more reputable is cheaper.

We chose this provider against more than ten others due to their specific description of "packed filled with fresh mango cubes" on Foodline; as well as "obvious flesh of mango chucks (sic)" on their website https://www.cake-inspiration.com/product-page/midnight-mango-mousse-cake-new-with-mango-chunks The cake we received was nothing like any of their own descriptions.

PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS FRAUDULENT BAKERY.
