Hit and miss cake flavours
Reviewed on 1st Jan 2025 Verified Purchase
The pulut Hitam Cake is light and not so sweet, which I prefer. The cocomelon cake was too sweet and tasted quite artificial. I also don't see any pomelo or sago even though it is a mango pomelo sago flavour.

Never order from this caterer. Food is terrible.
Reviewed on 11th Dec 2020 Verified Purchase
The tingkat is very well packaged and food is kept warm but this has got to be the worst tasting tingkat that I have ever ordered, out of the 8 that I have tried. The soups are either weird tasting or taste like plain water that we throw it away on ... More most days. The food are generally healthy in that there isn't much oil or taste. Portion size is pathetic too.

Beautiful aesthetically but the taste doesn't match looks
Reviewed on 22nd Mar 2020 Verified Purchase
The cake is absolutely beautiful and everyone wowed when the fairy light came on. But the cream was hardened after refrigerating so it didn't adhere to the cake properly. Taste-wise was nothing to rave about either. Quite disappointed in it.

Excellent service and set up but the food could be better
Reviewed on 22nd Mar 2020 Verified Purchase
The service and set up was excellent! However, the fish in the assam curry fish was too mashy and my guests also commented that the cereal prawns wasn't very fresh. The mixed fruit tart wasn't very nice with the tart too soft and no buttery pastry ... More taste.

Good and value-for-money. Great for parties!
Reviewed on 29th Dec 2019 Verified Purchase
Excellent set! Food is good and I love how every fish comes with a paper place mat which is designed to teach us how to eat the particular dish. The muah chee was soft and tasty. A very fun way to eat as it is also DIY.

Not the best but still value-for-money
Reviewed on 13th Nov 2019 Verified Purchase
Meat and fish dishes are generally alright but soups are normally bland and vegetables are not their forte. On one occasion, the cabbage came with a worm and most of the leaves are spotted black. One good thing is that feedback is usually taken into ... More consideration. For the price, it is quite value-for-money though

Value for money with hit and misses
Reviewed on 8th Oct 2019 Verified Purchase
After sending my feedback to caterer about the portion size dwindling after my trial, they did take action to up the portion slightly. Food is generally alright with hits and misses. The braised stuff are usually better. Their stir fried big cai xin ... More come with huge and tough stems that are really hard to chew as they don't remove the outer layer of the stem. Generally, it is still value-for-money if you can overlook some of these issues and have no time to cook.

Drop in standard after trial package
Reviewed on 5th Sep 2019 Verified Purchase
Initially when we ordered the 5days trial, the portion was big and food was tasty. Subsequently when we took the 20days package and changed to metal tingkat, the portion size dropped drastically. From two plastic containers of soup, it became 1 ... More plastic container for 3 pax. The dishes also became lesser and lesser over the days. Taste wise also not as good as the trial period. Today’s meal was the worst. 11 piece of tau kwa, 6 small pieces of chicken (3/4 of it were all bones) and undercooked cabbage (mostly the hard stems). Messaged the person to complain about it last week and the food portion became worse as days go past.

My whole family enjoys the food. Their menu has good variety, portion wise is enough for 3 1/2pax and not too salty. Definitely value-for-money!

The dishes are hit and miss. Pros is that there’s no processed food. Cons is that the portion could be bigger and food could be more flavourful.
