Repeat order from me. Food quality is generally good. Although pricier than other caterers, I find that it is more worth it to pay more for quality food. Portion is also good and can be filling for 2 small eaters.

However there were some misses - egg tofu with satay sauce was just weird. Kimchi was too much and very sour. Should be served as side dish and not main course. Ordered a few times from Homely Delights. They finally took in my feedback and delivered around 5:30-6pm instead of 3:30pm! That’s more considerate - thanks!

Good quality food everyday! Daily menu has a theme and we loved the chicken rice set and pasta - western chicken chop set. There’s also good variety for the carbohydrate (besides white rice, sometimes there is pasta or fried rice or yellow rice ... More with sauce) no doubt the price is higher than the standard tingkat but I would rather pay a bit more for quality and healthy food. Food is not oily and less salty - more healthy! We ordered for 4 adults. Portion is acceptable for small eaters but my son had to eat double portions. Fried chicken cutlet portion was big though. Only complaint is sometimes the delivery time is way too early - came at 3pm so by the time I eat at 7pm it has been 4 hours already. Deliveryman and service staff who update me on the tingkat deposit are all very friendly.

Generally food tasted nice, especially the eefu noodles, braised duck and brocolli with mushrooms. Fishmaw soup with cabbage and fishballs was way too salty although the ingredients inside were nice. Sweet sour fish was soggy and there’s too much ... More flour coating. Ching Tng dessert has nice ingredients but was way too sweet. Containers came with heat pack but these should not be placed in the bottom container as we had to dirty our hands lifting up the first layer of food to remove the heat pack and open it. Food covers were not provided. Each container was only covered with shrink wrap so the food was exposed while we were waiting for all the guests to arrive. Generally ok but I wouldn’t order again.

Brocolli with scallop was good - scallop big and juicy and cooked just right. Prawns were the hot favourite - the kung bao sauce was delicious. Changed udon to fried rice and rice was ok. Fish and chicken portions were good - just nice for 5-6 pax. ... More However the taste was so bland and in fact the chicken had no taste at all and we had to pour the prawn sauce over the chicken. Chicken dish was the worst - neither crispy nor fragrant. It was soggy and totally tasteless. Soup was more like starchy water with some minced black fungus and bits of crab stick. We threw half away. Mango pudding was good. No cutlery was given. Service personnel called earlier to inform that the food was on the way so that was helpful. Courier was polite too and food arrived in time at 6pm despite the heavy rain.
