Cheaper than my previous caterers. Probably because of that, portion given is quite small. My order for 5 is more suitable for 4 pax. Usually comes with a fried finger food dish which is unhealthy.

Pros: The food was quite tasty and hardly had repetition. Caterer was responsive to whatsapp messages.

Cons: Usually had processed/finger food as one of the 4 dishes which was not so healthy. Provided servings for 4 person although order was for ... More 5 person clearly shown by number indicated on containers and number of pieces given eg 8 pieces for 5 person to share. Felt cheated paying for 5 person but given 4 person's serving. Last straw was when vegetable came spoilt and had to be thrown away.

Consequently cancelled my 30-day order after 5 days of service.

Pros: Dishes rarely repeat and were quite tasty. Chicken meat usually served as a drumstick for each person which was very much preferred. All my previous few caterers gave chicken parts with bones which had hardly any meat. Delivery timing was ... More consistent. Packing was good and no leakage or spillage encountered.

Cons: For the health conscious, the meals may not give sufficient protein and may not be very healthy. Of the 4 dishes, very often 1 dish would be processed meat which was very salty. Portion for the vegetable dish was also insufficient to meet HPB's recommended quantity. However, these are the common problems with most caterers. Once, the dishes were not well planned eg in the picture: pork + cabbage + bean sprouts + brinjal. Lol!

Usually will have 2 dishes out of chicken, pork and fish. 3rd dish is either egg, beancurd and sometimes fried finger food. Last dish is vegetable.

Pros:
1) Food is quite healthy. Mostly not salty or oily.
2) Provides a good amount of protein ... More with 2 dishes of meat + egg or beancurd most of the time.
3) Seldom have fried and/or processed food. Most caterers will always have 1 dish of such unhealthy food.
4) Very responsive and flexible. Request to change from 3 dish + 1 soup to 4 dishes was readily accepted. They returned call promptly for missed calls.
5) Allows special request which is good for those with food allergies.

Cons:
1) Very little vegetables given. Look at 3rd and 4th picture. So little for 5 pax. More like for 3 to 4 pax. About 1.5 tablespoon for each person. Does not fulfill HPB's requirement for 1 serving of vegetables. Actually vegetables are not so expensive and this package is not that cheap. What a spoiler for an otherwise healthy meal.
2) Sometimes have unwelcomed addition to the food. Look at 1st pic. Found the plastic strip among the dish.
3) Towards the end of the cycle, gravy from food delivered always spilled and created a big mess.

I decided to try another caterer because of the insufficient vegetables. Hope they will improve on this.

1) Yusheng: Good mix of ingredients. Use of smoked salmon instead of raw salmon was very well received. Would be better if there were more salmon pieces like 2 for each person and not just 1 per person.
2) Fish maw and crab meat broth: Tasty but ... More very little fish maw and crab meat.
3) Herbal chicken: This was the hot favourite; whole chicken with strong herbal taste. Meat was tender and delicious.
4) Deep fried barramundi fillet: Meat was a little too dry for the older folks. Whole fillet was difficult to share out too. Would prefer sliced fish instead.
5) Tiger prawns: Fresh decent-sized prawns.
6) Braised cabbage with mini-abalone: Nice and soft. Good for elderly too.
7) Schnitzel: This was the worst of the lot! 2 thin slices of dry and tasteless meat. Would rather have braised pork like kong bak bao.
8) Lotus leaf rice: Filled with a mixture of ingredients. Very tantalising.
9) Jelly cocktail: Acceptable. Nothing exceptional.
10) Rose lychee tea: Out of stock and replaced by Green Tea.

Add on Yam Paste: Very very good. Thick and smooth. Top layer of pumpkin neutralises the sweetness of the yam and enhances the overall taste. No regrets adding this on. May purchase this separately for other occassions.

In short, everything was tasty and in good portions except for the barramundi and the schnitzel. Other than the texture and quantity, the fact that whole big piece was being presented for buffet was truly undesirable - difficult for guests to take/ cut.

Besides food, service was also excellent. Request for change in date was quickly acknowledged and accommodated. Delivery was only slightly earlier than selected session. Food came well packed and still warm. Sufficient cutlery was provided.

Delivery was punctual. Food was generally delicious except for Samosa which was soggy. We would have preferred Cereal Prawn but it was not offered. Also, the Yam Paste dish had too little yam and would be better if pumpkin was added. Still, it was ... More tasty and not too sweet.
