Unfortunately, out of the three tingkat providers I tried recently, my family favours this the least. They do not like most of the food out of the 10 days we catered for.

For me, the issue was with bad packaging on one of the days where the soy ... More sauce from the braised eggs spill over to the entire bag, making it messy to handle.

Then the next day the caterer forgot to pack rice. The upside is the caterer quickly responded to the feedback as there is a WA channel for communication, and offered an extra dish. But as we do not need that extra dish, we opted to just get a refund for the rice not delivered.

The food came packed nicely in clean plastic containers, including the rice. This was a nice change to our previous experience from another provider where the rice were in oily bags.

My children enjoyed the food a lot, even until the end of our ... More 10 day package. I like that the food are not excessively salty. I also like the variety.

We order for Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Tuesdays, we were given additional jellies that we did not order. On Wednesdays, there were special rice sometimes.

The only downside is the food are not hot. But all in all, we are pretty satisfied.

My first impression was the food were very oily. However, my kids, who were eating tingkat food for the first time, loved the food at the first try. I must say the novelty did not last and towards the end of the ten meal package, they decided they ... More had enough of it.

While I will not order a package with soup option again in future, I must say the soup were not bad. Out of ten dinners, we had several runs of winter melon soup. I love the last day's lotus roots soup with peanut. It helps that the food is usually warm upon delivery so I am grateful for that.

The rice packaging could do with some improvements though, as they are always oily from the soup's spill over into the plastic bag.
