Second (2nd) Time ordering from Amberlys Cakes.

Just like the 1st order, Amberlys does not fail me in delivering a cake that suits the taste of everyone! Though a cheese cake, it was not overpowering, very suitable for the elderly who are not ... More used to cheese. The sweetness is just nice.

Love the crust at the base!

Price has remained stable per last year with reasonable delivery charges - rare gem in these days of high inflation!

Cake presentation was very nice, especially the messages on each cake.

The children love the chocolate cake while the adults appreciate the very fruity Fruit Flan with lots of almonds!

At the point of order, was attracted by the unique flavour to decide to give it a try. NOT disappointed at all! The cake tasted good, especially the crust at the base. All in the family could not tell what flavour it was ...haha .... but all ... More loved it!

So generous with the mango .... each piece of cake given out is accompanied by a piece of mango!

And to top it all, the cake was priced at a very economical price of S$28 and reasonable delivery charge! Even a 7-yr-old nephew was asking for the name of the baker :)

On the whole, our 3-generational family enjoy the dishes. The taste might be bland for those preferring stronger taste but they suit us just nice!

We particularly enjoyed ALL the dishes served on 28 Sept - Dried Curry Chicken, Stir-fried ... More Spinach, Steamed Minced Chicken Egg. The combination went very well, making the whole meal very appetising and enjoyable!

We love the fact that Jessie Catering provided whole fish in its tingkat. Unfortunately, probably due to the style of cooking, the fish meat was kind of "rubbery".

Portion was good, thus it is really value for money.

When food is delivered at around 5+pm, they are still warm! Good for families who have dinner by 6pm!

Golden Pillow Curry Chicken - a childhood delicacy which we have not had for decades! Still tasted as good in right texture with spicy level suitable for all at home!

Child was fascinated by how the BIG LOAF of Bread unfolds to the Curry ... More Chicken therein. Only disappointment was - the number of chicken pieces therein were countable - only 8 pieces - 2 each for a family of 4 :(

Salted egg pumpkin was not up to my expectations - have preferred it more dry, crunchy and tasty.

Fried Rice was nicely done - portion more than sufficient for all!

Food delivered was warm and still fit for consumption even at 7.30pm, unlike the experience of a couple other caterers whereby certain dishes will turn bad.

Dishes did not repeat for the 10-days trial with a couple of pleasant surprises on how ... More some food was prepared, e.g. Fried Fuzhou Fish Ball!

Portion is generous.

This is so far the only caterer which will attach a copy of the menu for the week - neat and organised!

Starting Day 1 of the Tingkat, family members were pleasantly surprised with the dishes - found them delicious and can suit the taste buds of each and every member of the family!

Subsequent nights continued the surprise with unique dishes not ... More found in other tingkat we have had. It was decided that if we were to renew tingkat service, it would be this caterer!

Only setback, though, was we found vege turned sour by the time we consumed on 1st and 2nd day. Feedback was taken seriously with investigations done and outcome told to us. We are pleased with its service recovery efforts with no more dishes turning sour thereafter.

Food - cooked to the taste buds of all the individuals in my family - there sure will be a dish liked by someone! And for the FIRST time of our tingkat food catering since Mar, we could finish ALL the dishes on several days!

The adults love the ... More fish dishes ... they are not the fish nuggets or finger foods, but blocks/fillets of fish with bones cooked in various styles! Hardly see such dishes in other caterers. Thus we said this is VALUE for MONEY!

The children love the steamed, fried and minced pork items - convenient!

Grandma loves the greens and pumpkins and they were always cooked with some additional ingredients to make them more appetising-looking.

Food was not too salty and we believe there was no MSG as we did not feel thirsty and needed to wash down with water after dinner.

Service is recommendable. Hong Choo was the first caterer who would call to confirm the order before it commenced and also when it was to end.

Delivery time was punctual - 1st thumbs up!
Mango Mousse Cheese Cake was flavourful ... just not cheesy enough for the birthday man's tastes!
Mini cakes were well-liked by all of us, especially the chocolate ones - not too sweet and great ... More chocolaty taste! Its bite size was a hit too!
