Bought to surprise my friend for her birthday, just nice for 2-3 pax, the design is really cute and lovely, we like the idea of surprise flavors, would love to try other designs next time round! Overall enjoyable experience!

My dad had a craving for peranakan food, so we decided to order from Kitchen Peramakan for our family dinner. It was quite impromptu, so we were happy that the order went smoothly.

The whole process of ordering is relatively simple and fast, ... More peramakan emailed me the invoice on the day itself.

Delivery was early, food was still hot when it arrived. We enjoyed the pork dish, meatballs in the soup, sayur lodeh and chap chye. The pork cuts are rather generous, food overall was flavorful and rich. The Assam fish dish did came with a layer of oil on top, was much better after we scooped it off.

Overall rather satisfactory, the flavors do pack a punch, it is on the spicier side for most dishes as you would expect from peranakan dishes.

Felt that it was very thoughtful to wrap the boxes of food in cling wrap so food was still warm and didn’t spill all over the place when it arrived.

Delivery was late for only 10mins considering that it was peak hour. FoodLine and the driver ... More updated me along the way, much appreciated!

Portion is very generous! The highlight for us was definitely the ratatouille! very zesty and refreshing in tomato sauce, brinjal and bell peppers added different textures and flavors adding an extra crunch to the dish. Healthy and tasty, an overall feel-good dish as well.

Mains we chose were fish in mushroom sauce fish was very fresh, mushrooms were flavorful. Chicken was great, we each had a drumstick, the sauce went really well with the chicken. Everyone had their own container of the sauce and it was almost finished by the end of the meal.

Dessert we chose was apple crumble, refreshing and crumbly although a tad too sweet for us. Would love to try other desserts next time round, really spoilt for choices!

Came in a beautiful box for my mum to receive. Cake is moist and such a surprise. Layered with lychee bits, cream cheese and rose flavor in between the layer of raspberry cake, the combination works! Lovely presentation as well, Everyone reached out ... More for more than 1 slice!
