The set up time was supposed to be 3.30pm but because of a hiccup, they called me 3 hours prior to say that the team is already making their way there. In the end, everything was already set up by 1.30pm, 2 hours earlier. I was assured by the team ... More that as long as food was heated up, it won’t go bad. I’m writing this now with no stomachache so it’s all good. However, it was quite an inconvenience when they didn’t have the covers to the buffet trays. Reason given was that usually they set it up and event starts right away. But since it was 2 hours way too early and the set up was at a HDB corridor, we had to find a way to close it (read: birds love to chill at our corridor sometimes). In the end, we settled for aluminium foils to cover. The aluminium foils were ours by the way, cause I guess the team never had this issue of prepping way too early that they didn’t have any foils on them. It also sparked another slight annoyance when the foils were blown away by the wind several times (wasn’t secured properly). I also requested mid-event to extend another hour (on top of the already extended time so I wanted 6 hours total). Maybe it wasn’t possible anymore, I don’t know… cause nobody replied. I wouldn’t have kicked up any fuss if it wasn’t possible but just would have expected a reply. But nonetheless, food was GREAT. Received a lot of compliments from my guests for how good the food tasted. I agree, taste-wise great. It’s also super value for money. The chicken portions were huuuge. I love. Just wished the service/service recovery was a little better. But I will still order again for how nice it tastes and how affordable it is!
