If you're a true and blue Singaporean, you're probably someone who loves our local food! Well, I can't agree more! With so many exciting and interesting cultures mixed together on a tiny red dot, you can only expect the food to be delicious. Well, I'm here to introduce some local food that you can order in directly to your doorstep!

1. Buey Tahan Seefood

If you're someone who loves seafood, Buey Tahan Seefood's Crab in Da Bag options are just for you! It includes a 600g Sri Lankan Crab with prawns, clams, mussels, corn and potatoes as well. You can also choose your own flavor of the crab with options like spicy, non-spicy, White Tomyum, and of course, salted egg yolk! I recommend you order some mantou buns to compliment the dish too.

2. Ace Bistro and Bar

Ace Bistro and Bar serves up a wide selection of delicious bento sets ranging from local favorites to Korean fusion delights. Our top pick would have to be their smoked duck set which comes with a big portion of smoked duck with some fragrant rice and vegetables to go along with it. If you're a seafood fan, I would recommend their stingray set which is delicious as well. It's all hassle free!

3. Wang Wang Local Delights

Wang Wang Local Delights is a restaurant located in the heartland of Yishun and they are known for the curry chicken, vinegar pig's trotter, and baked chicken wings. They serve up a nice and wide variety of local favorites that are all affordably priced so you can enjoy a nice hearty Singaporean meal without having to break that bank.

4. The Original Katong Laksa

How can we mention Singaporean food without talking about laksa? The Original Katong Laksa was started in the 1940s in Marine Parade, and it became known as a legendary Peranakan Laksa stall served gravy so captivating that it attracted people from all over Singapore. You can get their signature Janggut Laksa which you can even customise and add on your favorites like fish cakes and cockles.
