Dapur Wahyu Catering review

This is my first order from dapur wahyu for 45 pax for my daughter's engagement. They were punctual in setting up the buffet. All the dishes were up to my expectations and my guests enjoyed them very much especially the rendang and ayam bakar but ... More the bubur kacang was too thick. Looked like there was a mixture of starch in it. Other than that all were delicious. It was worth the price. I have recommended this caterer to my guests and will definitely order again for future events.

Highly recommend this caterer, super friendly and nice crew, that updated us promptly with their whereabouts and collection.

Food was really delicious as well, everyone was raving about how good the food was! Portions were great as well.

The tahu bagedil , some were ok. Some were spoilt. So it was kind of a bummer for our Raya celebration.
Also the nasi minyak was not the usual ones I would normally have. The colour is different too.

However the service was good and prompt. Set ... More up was nice too, although I would prefer a different colour for the table colour.

The food is supposed to be nice but it was burnt. There is a burning smell in the food. This made the food taste horrible. This is the 2nd time I am ordering from this caterer. This caterer was late for these 2 times that I ordered from them.

Food was decent however the dessert tasted spoilt and sour. However the rest of the food was quite good and the portion was just nice for my gathering

Delivery was prompt.

Sadly the food is such a disappointment.
The begedil was sour. They came and gave a new batch but sadly it is soggy.
The beef rendang was so hard and chewy.
The bubur pulut hitam was so watery.

Omg honestly… How ... More could you serve these kind of food to your customer??? Definitely wont return.

Such a let down from all other reviews.

DRIVER WAS FRIENDLY AND CALLED AHEAD WHEN HE IS RUNNING LATE. HOWEVER KITCHEN MIGHT HAVE OVERLOOKED ON OUR COMPLETE ORDER AS IT WAS MISSING 10PKT EACH OF THE GADO-GADO AND NASI AYAM MASAK MERAH. VENDOR WAS QUICK ENOUGH TO RECTIFY AND ARRANGE ... More DELIVERY FOR BALANCE FOOD ITEMS. IN TERMS OF MOST LIKEABLE DISH HAS TO BE THE TAHU BEGEDIL AS IT IS CRISPY AND LOADED WITH POTATO AND THE COMBINATION OF 2 SAMBALS IS THE BEST. THE GADO-GADO AND NASI AYAM MASAK MERAH IS MEDIOCRE. WOULD LOVE IT IF THERE IS MORE ACHAR AND MORE SAMBAL TO THE RICE. SERVICE RECOVERY IS GREAT.

Rendang sauce was good. Previously, we took rendang beef but beef was tough. So we took the chicken this time. Not too bad but some pieces were tough too.

Kang king was just nicely spicy, as was the brinjal belado.

Bandung was too milky. Pulut ... More hitam too sweet.

The portion is quite generous for 30pax.
Overall, food is delicious ? setup was fast and delivered on time.
