Value and tasty meal for mom Reviewed on 17th May 2020 Verified Purchase Overall my mom likes the food as there is a variety of dishes. She likes the pork stew as the meat is tender and tasty. Great Food with Generous Serving for 1 pax. Lunch Reviewed on 7th May 2020 Verified Purchase Decided to try out tingkat during the ECB and didn't expect much but surprisingly, the quality was great for the price paid (S$46.50)! Order: 3 dishes plus a soup but no pork and seafood. The serving was generous - more than 1 pax portion, ... More especially the rice. Ate about 60% and left 40% for dinner. The food tasted just nice - not too saltish like most outside food. But some may find it a bit bland. Will definitely recommend HewTop Catering and may choose them again rather than try out the other tingkat menu from elsewhere. Nice Tasting Food Reviewed on 5th Jun 2020 Verified Purchase Tried the trial the other time and quite like the food and the fact that the vegetables were mostly garlic free, which totally suits my wife's taste. This round, the food were still mostly good and to our expectations. Only 2 small grouse we ... More had was 1) on the 1st day, the soup had to be thrown away as we saw a strand of unknown hair in the soup even before we unseal the soup. Had feedback to the caterer but no response from them 2) supposed to be able to postpone our meals through messaging them, however, no response from caterer after we put in our request, and food still come on the day we postponed. One thing to note is that our lunch order came at 10am, which is quite early for lunch. Food okay Reviewed on 29th May 2020 Verified Purchase The vendor asked me to confirm the delivery date but they missed it and ended delivering only from Day 2. Received the food very early at about 3.30-4pm. Too early for dinner. Ended up have to reheat the food. Difficult times during Covid circuit breaker. Reviewed on 31st May 2020 Verified Purchase Food quality seems to have dropped during the covid period. Vegetables do not seem properly washed. Also, the small fried fishes which were great previously were replaced by weird tasting fish with fine bones. Hopefully, the food picks up as the ... More caterer used to be very good. Affordable and balanced meals. Reviewed on 11th Jun 2020 Verified Purchase Food is of a reasonable portion and flavours are good; not too salty or oily. The only downside are the vegetables, which do not travel well and taste underwhelming. I selected 4 dishes instead of 3 dish 1 soup, and they will give you one random ... More fried item in replacement of the soup, which is great if you have an oven or fryer to re-heat these. Increase in quantity for the main dish is advisable. Reviewed on 13th May 2020 Verified Purchase Overall the food is fine although the portion for the main dish is small for 2 persons. Prefer the delivery time to be earlier like between 11.30am to 12.00pm. The food is often delivered to us close to 1.00pm.
