Order for my father in law and he likes the variety and with soup options. Portion was good for one and convenient.

This is a repeated order of multiple times. We are generally satisfied with their food and portion. Customer service is also always fast to reply.

Food portion is sufficient to feed 10 pax with some left over of longan almond dessert & mini chocolate eclairs as everyone is so well fed & full with the delicious main dishes. Fried rice is fragrant with garnishes, portion sufficient, except the sotong you tiao dish seems too little as seen on photo submitted, not sufficient portion. Elderly parents & us liked the mixed veg dishes. All dishes are tasty well prepared, not too oily. Thanks to Jiak Ba for the on time delivery and food is still hot when delivered in their carrier bag with heat pack.

Yes, the food is really not oily. I have ordered so many rounds from this caterer and I am still surprised by the new dishes I receive. The food feels so homecooked and yummy.

One little tip for future orders:
If your menu features the curry chicken, I would recommend requesting a switch from drumsticks to chicken wings if possible. While the curry gravy itself is rich, fragrant, and thick, the meat of a drumstick can sometimes be a bit too dense for the flavors to fully infuse inside. Switching to wings allows the delicious curry taste to soak right through the meat much better!

Other than that minor preference, everything else has been wonderful. Highly recommend FoodLine if you're looking for a hassle-free, dependable Tingkat solution for the family.

The food was okay but I felt that there was just too many pork dishes served throughout the 5 days. If you are a pork lover than this tingkat is for you.

I ordered the dinner tingkat for my elderly mother. She has rather fussy taste and we had changed a few caterers in the past as she would complain of the dishes being oily, salty or not fresh. After changing to Jiak Ba, my mother has only praises for the dishes that were able to satisfy her palate fully. She is happy with the variety of dishes that are well cooked and balanced. She finds the food delicious, almost like home-cooked without overly oily or salty. The delivery is prompt and the instructions on food preferences are followed through without glitches. Highly recommended and will continue with order for my mother, who always look forward to the daily delivery.
