Le Xin Catering Group Pte Ltd

Kind of disappointed with the dishes, not sure if it's due to repetitive dishes. Decided to stop for a while.

Very very very disappointed with this tingkat. Portion is little. Not value for money. Food is oily (do not taste like home cook food at all). Many frozen food in the menu, crab stick, hot dog etc. Found hair in one of the dishes also. Photos are taken over 3 days. Forgot to take for the other two days.
Basically every meal we ate abit and throw away. It’s really difficult for us to swallow it although wastage is not encouraged. Really cannot make it. Please do not waste your money on this.

Le Xin has been our "official" caterer ever since the CB period started last year. However, we found the food quality become inconsistent lately. Their salted vegetable soup is super salty and sliced pork is super tough. What happened, Le Xin? I have been giving ratings of 4 or 5 all these while but I now can only give you a straight 3's.

While the portion for the dishes were tiny, the amount of rice provided was huge. Tried to feedback to the caterer on the serving size but nothing was done. In addition, we had egg plant twice within 5 days. Hence, there appears to be a lack of variety.

The food would have tasted nicer if it was hot. The delivery came 1 hour before stated time. Luckily there were the owner’s niece there but delivery man had to cone back to collect the payment later.

So when we consumed the food, it was also more than 1 hour whereby they stated to consume the food within 1 hour.

Based on the good review I decided to try out their tingkat. Thankfully it was a 5 days trial and I will never order from them again and will not recommend to my friends or family!

Food came at 3pm-3.30pm daily and it was very oily! I upgrade my tingkat to Asian Delight but it was disappointed! The Asian rice with ham was soggy rice fried with oil! The vegetable was very oily too and when I emailed them and feedback they never replied! The apple snow pear soup was way too sweet and I wasn't looking forward to our next meal. Even their white rice is also coated with oil which I don't understand why they need to use so much oil? Not suitable for kids, my 6 years old did not enjoy at all.

All the foods is up to our guess standard, unfortunately the quantity of the foods *Fried Prawn roll and lemon chicken culter is so little, only can eat up to 5 guests (I already attchen the picture) hope it would happen for my next order on November

On Monday, they delivered curry dish to us even when we specified non-spicy dish (as one of their provided options). Our dad has chronic kidney disease, so he can't take anything spicy.

On Tuesday, they gave a repeated dish, i.e., two boxes contain the same Tofu dish.

Both above blunders really not a big deal at all. Just perhaps some room for improvement in terms of process/QA.

However, to our disgust, we saw an intact cockroach with a fat juicy belly in the Tofu dish, and we already eaten like 90% of the dish before seeing it. (See attached photo)

Initially didn't want to write this since they agreed to compensate by waiving off the cost for one month's tingkat. However, when we tried to renew, they blocked it off and did not accept our renewal.

Really disappointed in Le Xin Catering Group Pte Ltd. By the way, just realized they also operate in Foodline under different names, such as "Empire Food Catering Pte Ltd", and "House of Catering F&B Pte Ltd", God knows how many more...

We went ahead to try the 20 days tingkat, thinking it I’ll be reliable as it’s in partnership with Lao Huo Tang... but we were totally disappointed.
Food is very oily and salty.
Delivery timing is very irregular. There was once, the delivery was so late (after 6:30pm), we had to call the caterer and when the delivery guy came, we tried to talk to him but he just dump the food n ran away.
Soup was sour twice in a row. It was so sour that we could smell it, and my mum thought it’s some salted vegetable soup. Thankfully no food poisoning as we decided to throw the food away after tasting it a little. Twice I called the caterer, offering to even deliver the food for them to try, but they just say they will investigate and check their own food in the kitchen. It’s totally useless.
Asian delight noodles was so salty, we couldn’t believe the food are less oil and less salt.
The soup mostly has thick layer of oil floating on it, there was once, it was filled with just chicken skin.
Customer service is terrible too.
I have already paid but food did not deliver as ordered on the first day.
Customer service constantly says will contact me and follow up, but neither call or email have been received. To-date, I’m still waiting for the so call email & follow up call.
Anyway in the end, we have to go for an early termination.

Requested for no sotong but got sotong balls on one of the days.On the first day heat up and had my dinner at 7pm but the vegetables already turned sour so had to throw them away.And on the last day it was so late until I had to call them when I still did not received my dinner after 6.30pm and was told that the kitchen had some delays on that day.so dinner came at 7+pm with sauces leaking(last pic above) and dripping all over the floor as i carry in from the gate to the kitchen..Overall not a very pleasant experience with this caterer.
