Spark and Flame Catering (The Flame Cafe N Spark Restaurant)

Glad that I ordered from this caterer. Delivery was slightly earlier than slated which was good. The mee tai mak was a hit. My colleagues loved it. I also like that the fish fillet didn't taste dry, chicken ngo hiang also looked yummy and could tell that the oil used for deep frying was quite fresh. I didn't have the lemongrass chicken but heard that it was a little tough.
The only grouse is that the dessert grass jelly longan was very sweet. Should remove half of the syrup and add in more ice to balance the taste. And the tofu dish could be less salty (I had actually requested for the dishes to be less saltish and sweet).
Overall, I am happy with the experience. Will order from Spark and Flame catering again.

Friendly Delivery guy arrived early to do the setup. Came again before event time to deliver food.
Most people like the mee Siam, guava drink was nice too.

Food wise is not bad.the layout is good though but a bit of comment is that staffs prefers curry chicken without bones.

Portions were largely generous, dessert pieces may appear a little fewer (as in probably max 1 piece each).
Overall tasty - can cut down the salt content as the noodles and breaded dishes were quite salty.

Delivery came on time. Food portion was acceptable.
Kampong Fried Mee Siam well like by most guest。The Fried Fish with Sambal Sauce and Baby Kai Lan also well like. Rest for the dishes also acceptable.

Staff who set up the buffet table was extremely detailed and meticulous. They arrived on time and did an awesome job in setting up the buffet table. The setup was beautiful and the food were all delicious! My guests kept going back for the food and almost all the dishes were cleaned out. It's my first time engaging sparks and flame and will do so the next time i have an event. Highly recommend!

The bento set is pretty good except the portion is a bit small. Like the salted egg chicken and chilli crab prawn, however the broccoli with mushroom does not seem to have mushrooms. My vegetarian colleague has commended that the vegetarian bento is nice.

The portion was more than expected. Caterer came on time. Food taste good and everyone loved the mini choc éclairs. Overall food selection was satisfactory.

The standard of food for this caterer has dropped. It does not taste the same as before. Maybe they have changed another cook. The food is average and the sea coconut with longan is too sweet.
