WORD. Events and Catering

Order was for 12pm but arrived only at 1.50pm. Very embarrassing and sorry for my guests. The gravy was sticky liked. Because of the lateness and the guys were rushing, in the end no serviettes and garbabge bags was given. Spoilt my entire event.

1. Very bad caterer , the food got changed without informing me , I ordered Signature Oat cereal prawn but delivered was sotong ball . Ordered oven baked mixed Seasonal veg but was served oven baked brinjal which I don't like this disc

2. I ordered Fried banana ball not available , I told the caterer that I do not want the chocolate brownie and they agreed to replace something else but they still delivered chocolate brownie

3. Delivery came late more than 1.5 hour after my even timing. My even is at 12 pm and all my guest are waiting for the food. After 12 pm , the food still not delivered , I was so worried and called the caterer MANY TIMES but line cannot get thru. After 1 hour , I manage to call the caterer ,they told me the delivery will be late . The driver message me that the caterer just hand over the food to him at 13.24 pm . When I received the food ard 13.45 pm.

4. The caterer should inform us that they will late instead I call them to check on delivery status.

Overall the food was pretty decent in terms of taste, the menu offered was different from the usual mini buffets from other caterers. But we faced a couple of issues, probably due to the overwhelming orders during CNY:
1. Ordered Curry Chicken with Potatoes but they delivered Chicken Rendang instead. The taste was okay but we were given french loaf slices that were supposed to be for the curry. Not what we were expecting. The delivery personnel could even tell us it was curry chicken when it was obviously Chicken Rendang.
2. Ordered Oven Baked Mixed Seasonal Vege but was only served Oven Baked Brinjal.
3. Signature carrot cake was supposed to come with sweet sauce but there was no sauce.
4. We ordered additional 50 sticks of satay but they were not delivered. Delivery personnel mentioned they forgot about the order. Ended up with a refund for the price of the satay.
5. We were not given any serving disposable utensils such as tongs/ladle for serving, which are usually included when we order mini buffets.
6. Food was delivered about 45 minutes late. Guests had arrived by then.

My daughter requested for a caterer that does nice set up for good photo taking. Caterer is sincere, responsive, cooperative and friendly. However, the overall presentation was quite disappointing due to insufficient communication.
Food standard and portion is good. drinks portion could be improved. Napkins and ladle for desert were not there also. Little can be done tho caterer tried to salvage the situation.

Good

The portion is huge. The biryani rice and gravy is fantastic.
The chicken is abit hard to cut using plastic spoon and fork. Can try to cut the chicken into smaller pieces next time or use cutlery which is more solid.

2nd day of our order of bento sets for company event. This time is Western Set D which comes with 1 slice of garlic bread (not in picture). Food is tasty and comes in plastic disposable container with dessert.

Food overall is rather tasty. Presentation wise - would prefer packaging in bento box with compartments instead of cupboard trays.

The food is delicious and its value for money. What impressed my guests was their professional set up.
