Too oily, noodles were dry, curry too salty, and fried items Reviewed on 12th Jul 2026 Verified Purchase I had higher expectations based on the reviews and reputation, but unfortunately, the overall dining experience was rather disappointing. The fried rice was noticeably too oily, which made it feel quite heavy after just a few bites. The noodles ... More were overly dry and lacked the moisture and flavour that I was expecting. The curry was also excessively salty, overpowering the other ingredients and making it difficult to fully enjoy the dish. As for the fried items, they were fairly ordinary and did not stand out in terms of taste, texture, or presentation. Nothing felt particularly memorable or unique, especially considering the expectations I had before visiting. Overall, the food did not meet my expectations, and I was hoping for a more impressive and enjoyable dining experience. While the service and atmosphere may have been satisfactory, I believe there is room for improvement in the consistency, seasoning, and overall execution of the dishes. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback constructively, as it has the potential to deliver a much better dining experience. Delicious Food, Generous Portions, and Great Service Reviewed on 21st Jun 2026 Verified Purchase I recently engaged YLS Catering for a family gathering and was very satisfied with the overall experience. The food arrived on time, was well presented, and the setup was completed efficiently. The portions were generous and there was more than ... More enough for all our guests. The dishes were flavorful and well-received by everyone. The curry chicken, braised pork bun, and yam paste were especially popular, with many guests going back for second helpings. The staff were friendly, responsive, and professional throughout the event. Overall, YLS Catering offers excellent value for money with good food quality and reliable service. I would definitely recommend them for family celebrations, corporate events, and special occasions, and I would not hesitate to engage them again in the future.
