"Mixed reactions to the MSW cake touted as one of the best"

The MSW cake arrived on time at about 6pm and instructions was to leave it in the refrigerator. The cake cutting was done at about 9.45pm. The cake was still icy on the inside and it was difficult to cut with the plastic knife. The overall ... More experience of the cake was a little disappointing because the icy interior did not go as well with the cream exterior of the cake. To put it in perspective, the cake was alot nicer the next day after spending more time defrosting in the refrigerator. So it seems the cake was done made fresh on the day or maybe frozen durian was used. But the most important time of consumption is at the event, and so although the cake was nice the next day, many of the guest did not really enjoy the cake at the event because it was still too icy.
