Hong Choo was our 1st tingkat caterer we tried out due to a friend's recommendation. We live very near their central kitchen, so dinner is usually delivered before 3pm. Their customer service personnel was kind enough to pre-warn us about the ... Moredelivery times before we made the purchase.
Food wise: Inconsistent and repetitive. Some days the portions were huge, other days less. Some days the dishes were terribly salty (e.g. some vegetables with a bunch of salt clumped together), other days they were fine. We also ordered rice as add-ons, and the portion sizes varied quite greatly too.
Delivery wise: Mostly consistent in timing, but there were 2 occasions where they did a mix up and gave us someone else's food instead. Because we did opt out of chicken dishes, but we received it twice. The service staff we communicated with via WhatsApp was apologetic about it though.
Value wise: Definitely one of the more value for money caterers around
Would I repeat? -- Still unsure at the moment. It was boring eating the same dishes again for the past 20 weekdays. I wish they could work on a monthly dish rotation menu so that customers won't feel like they're constantly eating the same things. Show less
