"Tastes like despair"

As if I wasn't already mildly depressed from Phase 2 HA, eating this food made me feel like there was no more hope left in the world. All I could look forward to was the subscription ending.

Never in my life have I ever eaten a meal that almost ... More made me cry from how sad it was. It's edible for sure but that's all it is - the taste was disappointing, and the ingredients weren't fresh either. The vegetables were usually old and withering, and the soups were watered down to the point where you wonder if you were just drinking water with bits of meat inside. I died a little inside every day I ate the food, I wasn't expecting this quality given that each meal was $10.

I have since changed caterers and their food is leaps and bounds better than whatever I had in my week with Hewtop, and for half the price with delivery.

My biggest regret was believing the positive reviews and thinking that the negative reviews were just being picky. Trust me, they are not. If you treasure yourself and/or whoever you're sharing this with, 100% do not recommend unless you like feeling sad and empty inside.
