Portions are not big. Quite a few of my guests commented that the portions don't seem to be what you usually get for 35 pax. The satay beehoon, however, strangely was given a huge portion, and 2 tiny bowls of satay sauce were simply not enough. It ... More was a little embarrassing as my guests didn't dare take enough sauce for themselves. I called the caterer to ask for more sauce. After first rejecting any possibility of delivering more sauce, the caterer called again to inform that the chef has gone back to the kitchen to cook more sauce for us. This was much appreciated. A huge pot of sauce was then delivered. However, my guests were already quite done with dinner by then. Other than that, food was generally alright. The dory with pesto sauce and Hawaii chicken were good. But I do find the pineapple pieces were too few (about 10 only?) when it's featured in the name -- "Hawaii chicken topped with pineapple". Squid's portion was tiny and while the squid was soft to chew on, it wasn't Q. Couldn't taste much pumpkin in the pumpkin rice. My guests were also not impressed by the Chendol which is oddly green in colour, and contained more milky liquid than actual fillings.

To conclude, the food is not bad (but so are the food from many other caterers). Service is pleasant. Presentation is pleasing. But portions are not generous. I felt let down after spending $700 on this buffet.
