It surprised me on arrival! The re-useable Japanese bento tray are used for the food! Am I paying for the food or the container......

Is a real healthy no salt no oil bento compared to many deep fried and buttery western dishes. But a little ... More sweet for the chicken and the fish is far too plain in taste, really tell us the salt is too expensive!! hahaha..... The prawn salsa is good though a bit sweet. If some sourness could be added to the dishes it will be a perfect healthy bento! However, I still like this menu :)
Before forget to mention, the sales person or the delivery man they are all very polite.

Food taste is generally good. The best dish if you ask me to position them I would say Lontong Vegetable, Rendang Mutton, Briani Rice, Grill Chx with black pepper. The rest are just factory origin, taste ordinary except the siew mai is not ... More bad.

Actually most of us like the Briani long rice grain. However, the turmeric powder and original herbal ingredients is way too mild. Otherwise the rice shall come on to the most welcome dish! But it is still good to go with the thick rendang mutton and lontong vegetable.

The grill chicken with black pepper taste is great and it is not so spicy that even children can take.

The cereal fish is a great disappointment coz the look is not bad, but when eating then I discover the fish coating is not crispy at all, instead is oil dip!! :< The much of oil is worse than the breaded scallop where I usually thought that breaded deep frying stuff shall be more oily!

The look of the satay does not give a great taste coz it is too dull in colour! But taste is fair and acceptable with the thick peanut gravy. The portion of the meat is comparatively big piece to the usual size we eat at stall.

In general the food taste is fair but a bit salty. The fried mee sua is so salty that we need to wash in boilng water before giving to the chidren. But the mee sua if eat together with the plain bean curd in one mouth then it blended to just-right ... More taste. What a waste that I actually thought this is a less common dish I was very happy to see it in the menu! I suppose stewing with abalone is a good idea!! What a disappointment over this dish!

Supposing the bean curd stir fry with the bamboo shoot and baby abalone is a good combination. But we are disappointed by the quality of the asparagus! Is so old and full of fibre! I can only say this is new year dish! (What do you expect?? heheheheh…)

I really dislike the deep fried sea bass! Is so hard! Over cooked! No more fish taste! Less people like to try. We threw away almost half of the dish! :<

However, to be fair, all other sea food taste are good!
Like those in the treasure pot and pan-fried prawn.

Another disappointment! Actually the seafood treasure pot should be the best but problem is, the tasty soup base poured out of the tray all over the packing bag on arrival so the treasure pot became a dry pot! Otherwise the food is pretty tasty. The prawn is very fresh and sweet. I was a bit surprise of the packing where this treasure soup did not come in packing box like the sauce for the sea bass!

The deep fried food is a bit oily but taste acceptable. Stuffing is a bit different from which we usually taste.

My family like the roast chx & marmite pork chop which I think a little salty but still acceptable to go with rice.

The dessert I must give them a thumb up. The charcoal mango roll wrapping inside fresh crunchy lettuce really taste excellent and special! :)
the mango sago pomelo sweetness is just right and chilling.
These 2 desserts are the only 2 we really empty the containers!! hahahaha.....

The most enjoyable and proud gathering on this day is we are celebrating and re-union with 5 generation with our 101 years old granny!

Remerber few years back I ordered this caterer for office event and was appraised good. So I give myself a 2nd try, 1st time for the mini buffet for CNY. However, this time round I would just say the food is so so. The packing of food on arrival is ... More not as neat as I assumed as compared to past experience.

The mixed veggie dish is very salty. Nobody replenish their food plate with the veggie. I slipped my mind for not requesting to change the prawn to de-shelled dish as such as expected, a big portion of the cereal prawn was leftover! The dishes I ate the most were assam rojak and char siew chicken. They are not bad in the taste for this menu. The satay, most favorable dish was 1st to empty and I must say it has met my expectation that the meat was not burnt but nicely BBQ to perfection. The taste was also acceptable. The fruit plater is not to expectation as the water melon is unripen and tasteless!

Not sure which dish they added Msg. Feel a bit thirsty after food!!

In term of service, I think is acceptable. They tried to provide those dishes suitable for vegetarian at my request though not all could be complied.
