Most of the dishes were quite good, but the prawn portion was a bit small, so not everyone got to enjoy it.

The chicken curry and the golden prawns with fragrance oats were delicious. However, the fortune trio platter is disappointing. Overall the food is ok.

I used to order from Xin Yi Pin. This round I was disappointed as the noodles turned sour after the food were set up for about 2 hours. Under normal circumstances, food is good for at least 4 hours. Fortunately, it is a family n siblings gathering. ... More Else, it is really embarrassing. Paying $800+ and the main course turned sour. In the end, my siblings went to order pizza n KFC for the youngster. I have feedback to the caterer to look into the matter. They said, will investigate & update me.

Food came late, may be due to rain n traffic jam. Guests arrived without food. Fortunately is family gathering. Else, very embarrassing. Food portion is small for 30 pax (minimum order). I only had 23 people n food is insufficient. Left with fried ... More rice. Every year, I have excess food for the annual gathering of less than 25 pax for order of 30 pax. First time trying Robert Catering. I place order for 2 buffets yearly. Hope my next order on Saturday 28/1 is sufficient for 30pax n arrive punctually n ready to eat by 6.30pm.

Food is acceptable. Kid like the eclairs, 6 pieces gone in less than 5 mins. It will be good if can order only eclairs.

Delivery and collection are on time. All my guests love the curry chicken. Overall, the food is acceptable.

Very disappointed with the set-up. Food were not place directly on the stainless steel tray. There were placed on aluminum foil disposable tray (like those non set up mini buffet type), then place onto the set-up stainless steel tray. All food ... More arrived were cold. We have to bring the disposable aluminum tray of noodles & fried rice to the kitchen to steam.

Desmond from DesKitchen contacted me to apologize after I posted the review. He said he has since taken necessary action to the staff involved as set up buffet should never be served using aluminum tray. It is good that the boss has taken initiative to view their customer’s review & feedback and act upon it to prevent the same from happening.
