YONG KENG KUM's review

Food was tasty and not that oily or salty in my opinion, that would be a plus point for people who want their meals to be healthier.

However, their portion is much lesser as compared to 3 other caterers i've used so that's a consideration to take ... More note if you have members in the family who are large eater; might not be sufficient to go around to share.

The dishes are generally very well prepared, not too salty or oily - which is great when you want healthier food option for the whole family, especially so if you have younger children. However, the food portion could come across as barely enough, ... More we've had few occasions when the kids complained that they wanted more.

The food is generally very good and the portion is most generous for most average family. What we don’t particularly like is the delivery timing which could varies from being punctual most of the time to “is the tingkat coming?”. There were a ... More few occasions that it came so so late that my kids started to throw tantrums because they were hungry and we were forced to bring them for dinner. Needless to say the food did arrived but it was already too late. We tried calling when that happens but nobody picked up as they work office hours. When we feedback the next day, all we get was just a sorry.

We've been ordering from Hewtop for some time and it has never failed us on the choice of dishes, freshness and food amount. My fussy kids who tend not to eat her dinner has become more receptive ever since we switch over from another caterer.

We are impressed by the food quality, generous portion, tasty combinations and overall appeal with the nostalgic metal tingkat containers.

The portion was very generous for our family and we really enjoyed most of the dishes apart from a few. The soup tend to be on the salty side to our liking. On the whole, definitely well worth the spent, you won't regret it.
