Empress Porridge

Food portion is adequate and delicious. Everyday there's new dishes and no repeat of food. Quality of food is good. You won't see processed or frozen food. Their porridge is absolutely delicious and can even eat it on its own. I can see kanpei (dried scallops) in the porridge. I guess that's why its so tasty.
Though not everything is good. Their Teochew porridge is delicious but their side dish like salted eggs is too little. For 2 pax portion, it was only catered half salted egg and 7-8 sliced of pickled mustard. Although the main dish was huge. I think they should strike a balance there. Other accompaniments like sambal or chilli sauce was too little. Seems like it was catered for 1 pax only.

I had come across Empress Porridge at NUH back in my pregnancy day. Would definitely buy their porridge whenever I went to NUH check up. And chanced upon their tingkat meals on food lines. The menu is interesting, varies from Japanese cuisine to local delights. Some days it even has brownie. Everyday my kids were looking forward to dinner. I have requested the caterer to pack the food in my containers to save the environment, the caterer was very obliging. Thank you so much Mrs Goh, we love your food.

Food Quality is really much better then others but of course this come at a more premium pricing. There is variety in the food they serve but sometimes u might feel not value for the subscription

This is a repeated order. We really like the food. It's more expensive price but the quality of food is better too

This is second time ordering from this tingkat. Food is generally yummy but price is much more expensive than the others.

Delicious food and excellent service. However portion sizes are on the smaller side, and the amount of meat given can be variable.

The best tingkat so far. Good service too. Got desserts every Fri. Some days are special meals. Only down side is price.

Very good service from caterer who will SMS the menu to you every weekends. Slightly expensive but I’ll recommend to try if you are tired of eating the usual tingkat menu. Food is tasty and healthy. Caterer also make sure food are suitable for kids.

Generally OK, on the pricey side. Can order this once in awhile if you don't mind paying slightly premium.

We decided to try this caterer as we find the menu different from the rest of the caterers. Indeed the food is of premium quality and the price does show it.
