Fong Fu Food Catering

Tried this tingkat service recently. Portion size is relatively smaller compared to my previous caterer, and meals usually come with just 1 meat dish. Pricing is on the cheaper side though, so it may suit those on a budget. Taste is decent and acceptable for daily meals, but not particularly exceptional or memorable.

One thing I noticed is that the menu variety tends to come in “waves” — for example, bitter gourd dishes may appear quite frequently within a short period of time, followed by curry chicken showing up repeatedly over the next few days. So while the menu changes daily on paper, the overall flavour profile can feel repetitive at times.

I have been ordering from this caterer for tingkat delivery two years ago but we stopped for a year and came back to it. I must say the food variety and taste have greatly improved. We enjoyed the meals. The portions on some days are very generous otherwise it’s mostly sufficient. Delivery time is also punctual except for the first day of service when they missed out the order.

Good variety as always. With the price increase, should have completely braised dishes menu, instead of hot dog and corn etc instant food which can be cooked at home. Repeat customer

My family and I are repeat customers of Fong Fu Food Catering's tingkat service. we really like their food!

Food was decent but very cold, since they prepared since 2pm. Asked them for a later delivery time (since they usually deliver dinner at about 3+pm and we are usually not home to after 7pm) but they said they were unable to do so.
Soup was very mediocre. While the ingredients in the soup changed, the taste was always the same and very salty.
There were some nice dishes, meat and sides, but vegetables were typically average.

The food is tasty n not salty. Portion is sufficient and delivery is on time. So far no repeat menu.

Repeat order, dishes mostly tastes good. Like the flexibility for delivery of 3 days a week as it suits our schedule.

The proportion of the dishes delivered are quite sufficient to both me and my father as we do not tend to eat alot. The dishes are considerably quite delicious too except that some of the occasion, 1 or 2 dishes is a bit salty. Overall, it is still consider quite good.

Have been ordering since the start of year 2025. However, recently there has been a drop in the delivery service. There were instances where the tingkat was delivered after 7pm, and the food is supposed to consumed by 6.30pm. Reason given was due to new driver unfamiliar with the area. First time ok, but repeated times not acceptable.

Food mostly is okay else is so-so. Had a few issues. Better than my previous tingkat who has more fried food.
